How we deliver garage conversions
Most integral and attached garages convert well. We replace the garage door with a window and wall that match the house, insulate the floor, walls and roof, add heating and electrics, and finish the space so it feels like part of the original home.
We also renovate detached garages and outbuildings. One recent project gave a detached garage cream horizontal cladding, a dark roller shutter door, a tiled roof with Velux windows and stained glass in the gable end.

We talk through your plans, look at your home and explain clearly what is possible and what is realistically likely to be approved.
Architectural design
Our in house architect draws your plans with you, and you can refine them until the layout works for the way you live.
Planning and engineering
We handle the design, planning and pre build admin, including conservation areas, and our engineers complete the structural calculations.
Your build cost locked in
When you appoint us, your agreed build cost is locked in, protecting you from unexpected costs during the build.
Managed build
A dedicated site crew, project manager and project coordinator run the build, with daily updates through your client portal. Any extras are priced openly before they go ahead.
Snagging and sign off
A dedicated member of our team clears every snagging item before sign off. We build to a plastered finish, with optional decoration packages available.

Questions
Garage conversions: your questions answered
Do I need planning permission to convert my garage?
Converting an integral or attached garage is often permitted development, especially where the work is internal. Some newer estates have conditions that remove permitted development rights, and homes in conservation areas may need consent. We check the planning history of your property before we start.
Does a garage conversion need building regulations approval?
Yes. Turning a garage into a habitable room needs building regulations approval, covering foundations, insulation, ventilation, fire safety and moisture protection. We manage the application and inspections.
Can a garage become a bedroom or a home office?
Yes. A converted garage makes an excellent home office, guest bedroom, playroom or gym. We design the room around how you plan to use it, including heating, lighting, power and storage.
